MORI cruises through a successful first season
As scientists face limited access to dedicated research vessels, we looked to other pathways, outfitting non-specialized vessels with portable equipment. This year we launched the Modular Ocean Research Infrastructure Initial Development and Demonstration (MORI IDD) project, and its first season was a shining example of collaboration. Five postdoctoral fellowships awarded with support from ArcticNet and MEOPAR

Fathom Fund project Stream2Sea is now underway thanks to crowdfunding and MEOPAR funding. This national storymap, integrated into the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition’s (COLC) Community Platform, will strengthen ocean literacy and knowledge sharing across Canada. Read more here.
