CNOWR is a newly formed and growing community of researchers across Canada’s universities, colleges and research institutes wanting to contribute to Canada’s aspirations for sustainable offshore wind development. We can’t fund research. Yet. But we can enable the necessary conversations, within Canada (and with international collaborators ) needed for successful interdisciplinary research projects at the intersections of biodiversity conservation, engineering, physical and biological systems modelling, societal engagement, information sciences, advances in ocean monitoring technologies, and the design of decision-support tools.
