We’re looking for seven highly qualified personnel from our network who are interested in taking leadership positions as Session Supporters or Satellite Event Coordinators for MEOPAR’s 2021 Annual Training Meeting: Building Future Skills to Address Canada’s Marine Challenges. Further details on each role are provided below: Session Supporters (4 positions available):

• • Responsible for being present during sessions to record notes, address tech issues with Zoom, and help as needed
  • The time commitment is approximately 10 hours to account for one meeting with MEOPAR Admin staff and one full day of programming covering 3 sessions; one webinar, one workshop, and one networking session
  • ATM dates and times where support is needed:
    • Mon, Oct 25 from 12-6pm ADT / 8-2pm PT (with 2 half-hour breaks)
    • Wed, Oct 27, from 12-6pm ADT / 8-2pm PT (with 2 half-hour breaks)
    • Tue, Nov 2, from 12-6pm ADT / 8-2pm PT (with 2 half-hour breaks)
    • Thurs, Nov 4, from 12-6pm ADT / 8-2pm PT (with 2 half-hour breaks)
  • Session supporters will be compensated at $25/hr

Satellite Event Coordinators (3 to 4 positions available based on location):

• • Responsible for planning and executing a satellite event for HQP in your local area, with support from Alexa, the Training Program Manager, between October 25 and November 5, 2021, that does not overlap with planned ATM sessions
  • This role also requires that you provide a one-page written event plan with a budget included to the Training Program Manager by September 26 and a written debrief to the Training Program Manager by November 29
  • The time commitment is roughly 12 hours to account for planning, delivery and reporting
  • Satellite Event Coordinators will be compensated at $250/event
